Jack P. Nix Families,
I am thrilled to serve as Principal of Jack P. Nix Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year! I have been an educator in the White County School System since 2004. During that time, I have taught both elementary and middle school, served four years as Instructional Coach, worked three years as Assistant Principal, and currently serve as Principal. I have a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia College and State University. I earned a Specialist's Degree in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. My husband is Josh Hall, and I am the proud mother of two daughters, Maddie Kate and Kinsley.
We are looking forward to a wonderful school year at JPN! Our teachers and staff work diligently each day to meet the various needs of all students who enter our building. Classrooms at JPN are filled with exciting learning experiences that will make an impact on the lives of our young learners. Throughout our building, students feel loved and respected. Our continuous goal is to truly know our students, value their individual needs, and inspire them to find strengths and talents that will shape them into strong individuals. The focus this school year is ROCK YOUR ROLE! Each of us…staff members, students, families, and community members have individual roles and responsibilities to help make our school successful. This year we are going to dig deep to define our roles and discover the leader within us. Discovering the leader within us will allow us to be our very best each day and truly ROCK OUR ROLES at JPN to make our school even better than it already is! Our primary desire is to provide the very best for our students each day they walk through our doors! The hard work and dedication of the teachers and support staff is evidenced through the academic performance of our students each year. We appreciate the continued support and trust displayed to us from our local Board of Education, Superintendent, and family members. Collaboration among our students, staff, parents, and community members will enable us to make great strides towards continuous improvement at Jack P. Nix. I look forward to a ROCKIN’ school year!
