Jack P. Nix Families,

I can’t wait to start my fifth year as Principal at Jack P. Nix Elementary School!  I have been an educator in the White County School System since 2004.  During that time, I  have taught both elementary and middle school, served four years as Instructional Coach, worked three years as Assistant Principal, and currently serve as Principal.   I have a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia College and State University.  I earned a Specialist's Degree in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.  My husband is Josh Hall, and I am the proud mother of two daughters, Maddie Kate and Kinsley, who are both students in White County School System.

We are looking forward to the best school year yet at JPN!  At JPN, our core values  are JOY, TRUST, VALUE, and SERVICE.  As Principal, my vision is for Jack P. Nix to be a place where everyone who walks through our doors can feel JOY. I want my staff to feel proud to be a part of this school and know in their hearts they are exactly where they need to be. I want this joy to trickle down to our students and families so that they, too, are proud to be a part of this school. TRUST is really important to me. I want our staff to know they can depend on me, and in turn, they can depend on one another.  I want our students to have the confidence that they can rely on the staff at our school to take care of them. My desire is that we VALUE one another at our school and treat one another with respect and kindness. I want students to look back on their elementary years at JPN and feel the love between our walls. Parent and community partnerships are key in this organization.  I want everyone to feel that they have a voice and are respected.  Having a heart of SERVICE is vital in our school. I want my staff to intentionally pour into others because they care about the organization as a whole and desire success for one another. JPN is a special place, and my heart wants everyone to believe that!

Our theme for this school year is “Commit to the Moment.” We know that life is an adventure, and we learn from every moment placed before us.  This year we want to strive to make every encounter with our staff, students, and families truly matter and make an impact.  Making this commitment takes a ton of courage and requires tremendous compassion for others.  We look forward to relationships getting stronger, staff members challenging the status quo, and our students growing at the highest levels.  It is going to be a GREAT school year at JPN!
